Course structures in the University of Sussex Business School

Careful thought and consideration has been put into the development of our new January courses to ensure the best possible student experience. Our tailored January courses typically follow a structure where students will gain a foundation of understanding in their first semester from January through to May; choose further options over their summer and finalise their dissertation or project in the final semester – completing their studies in January 2022.

Full details of our courses, modules and the structure of the course are being finalised and you will be updated as soon as these become available.

School of Media, Arts and Humanities

Our newly formed School of Media, Arts and Humanities is ranked in the QS World Top 100 for media and communications. Students will learn in a city with a thriving independent music and film scene. As a student you will have the opportunity to explore Brighton’s many festivals and work alongside experts in global cinema and music.

Our courses are inspired by the role of civil society and alternative media organisations.
